“I’m Not A Gangsta, I’m Not A Criminal” – Meek Mill Cries Out As He’s Found Guilty Of Probation Violation

 On Thursday (Dec. 17), a judge ruled that Meek Mill has violated his probation.

As a result, the Philly MC could face jail time.

“I’m not a gangsta,” Meek told the judge in court, according to TMZ.

“I’m not a criminal. I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I’m trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there.”

Meek also reportedly apologized to assistant D.A. Noel Ann DeSantis for referring to her as a “bitch” in his song “The Ride.”

Nevertheless, Judge Genece Brinkley ruled that Meek violated his probation.

While he awaits sentencing, the MC has been ordered not to leave the five-county area arond Philadelphia.

Nicki was in court with Meek, according to ABC News.

Last week, she testified on his behalf, telling the judge, “He doesn’t have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible. Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit. […] He’s just getting accustomed to being an adult.”

Meek has a history of legal woes. He was convicted of a gun charge in 2008 and subsequently served time in jail, received probation and went through drug and alcohol counseling.

This isn’t the first time Meek has faced Judge Brinkley, either.

You may recall she was the one who sentenced Meek to five months in jail last year, for violating probation.

“I kind of think it saved me, really,” Meek said of his incarceration in April.

“I think it was the best thing that happened to me at that time. See what it is, like, a lot of people don’t understand that and I ain’t really understand that, but the judge I got, she really got a super high potential for me.”

Judge Brinkley has yet to decide on his punishment this time around.
