Government reopens hospital that was closed in Lagos due to virus scare
The Ministry of Health has reopened the Ahmadiyya Hospital, Ojokoro in Lagos after it was closed over a reported case of a Lassa fever patient referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in January.
The clearance letter was issued to the Ahmadiyya Hospital by the government stated that the said hospital was no longer at risk of infections and its staff have undergone the 21days mandatory monitoring.
Most recently, The Plateau state commissioner of health, Kunden Deyin, said the state government has embarked upon a sensitisation program to teach people how to prevent the spread of the Lassa Fever disease.
