Repentance over Tithe

I am not saying paying tithe isn't good, it is good to pay tithe, Jesus said it all in Matthew 23:23-24 “You’re hopeless, you religion scholars and Pharisees! Frauds! You keep meticulous account books, tithing on every nickel and dime you get, but on the meat of God’s Law, things like fairness and compassion and commitment—the absolute basics!—you carelessly take it or leave it. Careful bookkeeping is commendable, but the basics are required. Do you have any idea how silly you look, writing a life story that’s wrong from start to finish, nitpicking over commas and semicolons? Matthew 23:23‭-‬24 MSG

Read that verse again and carefully.. Tithe is good, but Godliness and repentance is importanter 😁

The problem is churches preach more on tithe than repentance.

Churches give time to discuss on monetary issues than godliness.

Churches keep account of those who pay tithes and don't keep account of newly converted members/ or new comers.

We all know Money is good and essential for living, but don't because of money neglect the true and reason for gathering together as saints.

If Churches emphasis more on repentance than tithe, maybe we would have more members going to heaven than members who pay tithe but are not heaven conscious.
